Nearly 150 participants experienced revival and preparation for ministry during It Is Written’s ReCharge, an annual training intensive held every January. This year’s ReCharge was held in Conyers, Georgia, in preparation for a large-scale evangelistic initiative in Atlanta and several cities across the southeast in the fall of 2026. Participants came from numerous locations, including California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and more. Several churches sent groups of members in anticipation that they would return and recharge their communities for Christ.
It Is Written speakers taught classes on how to revolutionize a church and move it toward an endless, intentional mission. A Great Commission culture should be vibrant in every church, and every decision should be made with some level of mission in mind. Additional classes included how to increase member involvement, prepare for evangelistic meetings, make the church visitor-friendly, market online effectively, and much more.
Participants were deeply moved by the spiritual and practical nature of the weekend. At ReCharge, we sing, pray, eat, learn, and grow together. People aren’t just told they should do something; they are given step-by-step tools to make it happen. We connect with each other and with God as we set aside this time to focus on what really matters. Although the event had to end early due to severe winter storms, hearts were drawn toward God in a new way that many hadn’t considered possible before.
